I’m Phoenix Jones Mother#$@*er

Phoenix Jones

Happy New Year and welcome to 2011.  We kick off the new year with an incredible story out of Seattle Washington, where a group of concerned citizens/vigilante crimefighters are keeping the streets clean.  The vigilante syndicate calls themselves the Rain City Superheroes and is comprised of the characters Thorn, Buster Doe, Green Reaper, Gemini, No Name, Catastrophe, Thunder 88, Penelope, Red Dragon, and the leader Phoenix Jones.  Armed with mace, taser batons, bullet proof vests and sweet costumes these ordinary citizens patrol the streets of Seattle and thwart would be thefts, chase drug dealers away, and give food to the homeless.  Phoenix Jones has claimed to have been shot and stabbed in the line of duty, make no mistake this ain’t no joke.  In an interview Phoenix Jones sums up why they do what they do saying, “Every night before I go on patrol I tell them (his kids) this is the only thing daddy can think of to make the world better for you guys”.

The World Super Hero Registry lists many canadian crime-fighters including Vancouver BC’s caped crusader “Thanatos”

Thanatos

Here is a quote from Thanatos’ bio page

My name is Thanatos, I am also called the dark avenger. I am fighting a war for good against evil. I cannot win this war. I do not want to win the war, only all my battles. Beware that while slaying the monster you don’t become the very monster you set out to slay. But sometimes you have to send out your own evil to fight evil. I am the reason to fear the night

These guys are taking “Alter Ego” to a whole new level
